J <br /> Future Trails / Draft Trail Plan Update <br /> Mr. LeBlanc submitted an updated "Future Trails Plan" to be approved by the Parks and <br /> Recreation Committee and forwarded on to the appropriate parties involved. <br /> Motion by Mr. Walter, seconded by Mr. Porter to allow Mr. LeBlanc to forward <br /> copies of the proposed Future Conceptual Trail Map to the appropriate parties <br /> involved. Motion carried. <br /> 2001 Budget <br /> The Parks and Recreation Committee discussed the goals that were achieved in the year <br /> 2000, and were pleased that most of the goals were accomplished. Mr. LeBlanc <br /> suggested the committee "brainstorm" on what they would like to see accomplished in <br /> the year 2001. Mr. <br /> Peterson questioned who is responsible for the repairs, adding that he felt insurance <br /> should cover the repairs. At discussion, the committee requested Mr. Peterson talk to <br /> Mr. March and Mr. Palzer regarding the situation. <br /> Ice Rink Attendants <br /> The committee discussed the performance of last years' ice rink attendants, along with <br /> issues and concerns that will need to be addressed with the upcoming new attendants. <br /> Mr. Peterson volunteered to supervise the rink attendants and overall upkeep of the rink <br /> due to the fact that he already visits the rink on a daily basis for maintenance purposes. <br /> 3 <br />
