Motion by Council member Sweeney, seconded by Council member Broussard Vickers to <br /> adopt Resolution No. 99 -25, APPROVAL OF THE TRI -CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT with corrections as noted by Mr. March. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Wayne LeBlanc — Long Term Planning Committee <br /> Mr. LeBlanc reviewed his letters with Council in regard to the duties that the Long Term Planning <br /> Committee could assist the other commissions/conunittees in completing long term planning <br /> issues. <br /> Mayor Wilharber asked the Council liaisons if this issue has been discussed with the other <br /> commissions/committee. The Council liaisons indicated that their respective <br /> commissions /committees have not met since this issue was brought to Council. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that this issue should be addressed at a workshop with the various <br /> commissions/committees. <br /> Mr. March stated that this issue was one of the items that should be addressed at the Council <br /> Goals Workshop. It was the consensus of Council to hold a Council workshop on Wednesday, <br /> January 19, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. <br /> Mayor Wilharber stated that an article should be placed in the newsletter letting interested people <br /> know about this issue and that it will be discussed at the January 19, 2000 workshop. <br /> IV. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> December 20, 1999 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Motion by Council member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council member Travis to <br /> approve the December 20, 1999 Council meeting minutes with corrections. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> V. PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> The City of Centerville December 9 through December 20, 1999 <br /> Motion by Council member Travis, seconded by Council member Broussard Vickers to <br /> approve the expenditures for the City from December 9, 1999 through December 20, 1999. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Centennial Fire District — December Expenses <br /> Motion by Council member Nelson, seconded by Council member Travis to approve the <br /> expenditures for the December Expenses of the Centennial Fire District.
