CITY OF CENTERVILLE Not Approved <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> April 26, 2000 <br /> 6:00 P .m. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly <br /> scheduled meeting on April 26, 2000, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Council Member Dick Travis <br /> Council Member Terry Sweeney <br /> Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br /> Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br /> City Attorney, James Hoeft <br /> City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Wilharber called the April 26, 2000 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 <br /> p.m. <br /> 11. PUBLIC HEARING (S) — None. <br /> 111. APPEARANCES /AWARDS <br /> Citizen of the Year — Aimee Fairbrother <br /> Mayor Wilharber presented Aimee Fairbrother with the Citizen of the Year Award <br /> in recognition of her dedication, service, and outstanding contribution to the City <br /> of Centerville. He thanked Ms. Fairbrother for her many contributions to the <br /> community and as an employee. <br /> Ms. Fairbrother stated she appreciates the award but her greater award is the <br /> appreciation expressed by the children of the community in the parks, schools, and <br /> church. She stated it is an honor to received this award and thanked her husband <br /> for his help and assistance with the projects she is involved in, for their daughter's <br /> support, as well as the support of her friends. <br /> Centerville Historical Preservation — Mary Capra <br /> Mayor Wilharber introduced Mary Capra who was a representative for the <br /> Centerville Historical Preservation Society. <br /> Page 1 of 12 <br />
