CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES 4 <br /> June 14, 2000 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers, seconded by Council <br /> Member Sweenev to approve the June 14, 2000 Council meeting minutes as <br /> submitted. All in favor. Motion carried. (Nelson abstained). <br /> V. PAYMENT OF CLAIMS <br /> The City of Centerville June 15 through June 28, 2000 <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Nelson <br /> to approve the expenditures for the City from June 15, 2000 through June <br /> 28, 2000. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Centennial Fire District Expenses <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Nelson <br /> to approve the Centennial Fire District expenditures in the amount of <br /> $10,738.40. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. SET AGENDA <br /> The following items were added to the agend • <br /> • Chief Joel Heckman's 1999 Annual eport under Appearances <br /> • Traffic Light on Main Street and 3 under Petitions and Complaints <br /> • Sidewalk on Main Street under Petitions and Complaints <br /> • St. Genevieve's Parking Request under Petitions and Complaints <br /> • Brian Way Pond Discussion under Petitions and Complaints <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Travis <br /> to approve the agenda with the noted additions. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> VII. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> Norma Essex <br /> Mr. March indicated Norma Essex is requesting that all shrubbery near property <br /> lines be kept two feet from the property line for pruning purposes. He noted Ms. <br /> Essex feels this is a total lack of disregard for property owners and maintenance <br /> should be mandated. <br /> Council Member Broussard Vickers noted Ms. Essex has a point but it would be <br /> difficult to enforce such a mandate for the City. Mr. March asked for direction <br /> from the City Attorney. <br /> 4 <br />
