Mr. <br /> March stated a curb cut option could also be discussed for the City of Centerville to <br /> allow for smoother lines from the street to the driveway. <br /> Mr. March asked if the Council would be in favor of considering this grinding option. <br /> Mr. Peterson noted the surmountable curb could be improved with the stand up curb <br /> with the mud run off. <br /> Council Member Travis stated he was in favor of this, but noted the grinder used for <br /> the driveways could be a problem not always providing a smooth cut. <br /> Council Member Broussard Vickers questioned whether a Developer could be stopped <br /> or not used for future developments if City specifications were not being met. Mr. <br /> March noted time lines are going to be set from now on and stated he could not stop <br /> them from developing. He indicated Developers would be held to City Code. <br /> Mr. March noted the City was responsible for cleaning the catch basins within <br /> developments and noted the Public Works Department would need to keep up with <br /> this in the future. <br /> Council Member Sweeney noted the Parkview Trail placement within the <br /> development and stated that it was placed without base as recommended by the City. <br /> Mr. Palzer stated the Parkview Trail was damaged by an unidentified vehicle, but it <br /> does have a six -inch base with two inches of asphalt. He noted this was acceptable to <br /> City Trail Standards. <br /> Council Member Sweeney indicated he would like to have a City Wide Specification <br /> made for all new trails. Council Member Nelson concurred and asked that the City <br /> Engineer draft language for setting these specifications. Mr. Palzer indicated the City <br /> does have specifications at this time and noted these specifications have been used for <br /> Hunter's Crossing. <br /> Mayor Wilharber asked that the City Engineer review this issue and report back to the <br /> Council at the next meeting. <br /> VIII. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> Hunter's Crossing Ditch — Tabled Julv 26. 2000 <br /> Mayor Wilharber asked for a review of this issue. Mr. Hoeft noted he had not heard <br /> from the Title Company, but noted Mr. March received a letter on August 8, 2000, <br /> regarding the quick claim deeds for Hunter's Crossing. He stated he would contact the <br /> Title Company and report back to the Council at their next meeting. <br /> Motion by Council Member Sweeney, seconded by Council Member Nelson to <br /> table the Hunter's Crossing Ditch discussion to the August 23, 2000 meeting.
