77 — Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission held their regular meeting on Tuesday, <br /> June 4, 1985, at City Hall. Chairman Tourville called the <br /> meeting to order at 7 :25 P.M. Present: Welk, Buesseler. <br /> Absent: Lindgren, Murray. <br /> Correction to minutes of May 7, 1985 under Old Business, <br /> paragraph 6. Motion corrected to read: Motion by Welk, <br /> second by Buesseler to have the City Council review with <br /> the City Attorney the rezoning of the property at 6805 - <br /> 20th Avenue South from Commercial to Industrial to see if <br /> it was done in compliance with State Law and City Ordinances, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Welk to approve minutes of <br /> May 7, 1985 meeting as corrected, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Welk to recommend the City Council <br /> grant a variance as requested to Gerard LeTendre as substantiated <br /> in the Public Hearing held June 4, 1985, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Clerk will put variance request on agenda for June 12 <br /> Council meeting. <br /> Discussion on rezoning of property at 6805 - 20th Avenue <br /> South. Buesseler brought slide presentation on "City Planning" <br /> for the Commission to view. Buesseler will gather additional <br /> data for presentation at the next Commission meeting on the <br /> zoning of Industrial and Commercial properties. This issue <br /> will be tabled until the next meeting. <br /> Discussion on the animal ordinance. Some changes and revisions <br /> were made. Clerk will type up new draft to be reviewed. If <br /> approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission, it will be sent <br /> to the City Attorney for review and then to the City Council <br /> for final approval. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appearance of Larry Koch in reference to a building permit <br /> required for a pole barn constructed on his property. Clerk <br /> will check with Gunnar Pettrsen, Building Inspector, and put <br /> on July Planning and Zoning Agenda. <br /> Appearance of Dean Anderson. Wants to build a warehouse and <br /> bodyshop in the Industrial area along County Road 14 and 20th <br /> Avenue South. Clerk will mail him a Special Use Permit <br /> application form. He will also need to submit a sketch of <br /> the building on a survey of his land. Clerk will put on <br /> July agenda. <br /> Appearance of Art Mohler. Discussion on variance and setbacks <br /> for storage shed. It was determined a 50' setback from each <br /> street on a corner lot, and 5' from rear lot lines applied. <br /> He will contact the Building Inspector for verification. <br />
