Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission met on Tuesday, April 3, 1984, in City Hall. <br /> Chairman Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Present <br /> were LaMotte, Dupre, Welk and Lindgren. Absent Murray and <br /> Tourville. <br /> Due to the nature of the meeting, Chairman Prachar removed <br /> himself from the chair and Bob LaMotte chaired the hearing <br /> on the agenda. <br /> Clerk read the public hearing notice on the special use permit <br /> request from MCI of Washington, D. C. for construction and <br /> placement of a 290' tower on the Walter Prachar property at <br /> 6756 Centerville Road. <br /> Mr. Bill Roberge of MCI - Airsignal gave brief resume of cellular <br /> radio and towers that have and will be built in the Minneapolis <br /> St. Paul area, including the one in Centerville. <br /> Questions on above were voiced from audience: <br /> Floyd Kruger, 6719 Centerville Road <br /> Bob Koran, 6759 Centerville Road <br /> Mary Ann Peloquin, 6716 Centerville Road <br /> Mrs. Walter Wilharber, 6813 Centerville Road <br /> Mrs. Mary Lou Wilharber, 6849 Centerville Road <br /> Dennis Zerwas, 6882 Centerville Road <br /> Mrs. Linda Sero, 6709 Centerville Road <br /> Arthur Mohler, 1756 &Rater Peltier Lake Drive <br /> John Clarke, 6625 - 20th Avenue South, Lino Lakes <br /> After Mr. Roberge replied to the resident questions, the <br /> residents took a five minute recess in which they reviewed <br /> the project and requested the site of the tower now on print <br /> be moved a mile further back from the county road. The <br /> residents would like documentation that the tower will not <br /> interfere with television reception. <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Dupre to accept the proposal of <br /> the tower site being moved with the stipulation that all <br /> legalities can be worked out between Mr. Prachar and MCI, <br /> motion carried. <br /> Hearing adjourned at 9:00 PM <br /> Chairman Prachar called the regular meeting back to order. <br /> Discussion on *' & Z recommendation to the council on reduction <br /> of lot sizes. Motion by Dupre, second by LaMotte that P & Z <br /> go on record recommending to the City Council that a reduction <br /> in lot sizes in the sewered area be enacted resulting in the <br /> width being reduced from 100' to 80', motion carried. <br /> Motion by Lindgren„ second by Welk to adjourn meeting, motion <br /> carried.
