r <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING <br /> TUESDAY - FEBRUARY 28, 1984 <br /> PRESENT: Walter Prachar, Chairman <br /> Bob LaMotte Melvin Dupre <br /> Elmer Murray Kathy Welk <br /> ABSENT: Bob Lindgren Dan Tourville - arrived at 7:10 PM <br /> Chairman Prachar called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. <br /> Clerk read the public hearing notice on Amendment to Ordinance <br /> #4, requesting reduction in lot sizes in sewered area from <br /> 100' frontage to 80' frontage reducing lots from 15,000 square <br /> feet to 12,000 square feet. Members of P & Z voiced their <br /> opinion on reduction. One member requested no change in lot <br /> sizes at this time; remaining members would like lot size <br /> reduction. Several members in audience voiced opinion: <br /> 1. Art Mohler, 1756 Peltier Lake Drive <br /> 2. Thomas Wilharber, 6849 Centerville Road <br /> 3. Charles Baumann, 6903 Centerville Road <br /> 4. Leon L'Allier, 1973 Main Street <br /> No decision made by P & Z on matter. Motion by Tourville, <br /> second by Dupre to adjourn hearing, motion carried. Hearing <br /> adjourned at 7:45 FM. <br /> Public hearing notice was read by clerk on variance request <br /> at 8:00 PM. Public hearing is held on request by James Stevens, <br /> 7007 - 20th Avenue South for variance on Lot 8, Block 1, <br /> Rehbein Estates to place a duplex on lot sized for single <br /> family home. <br /> Mr. Peter Buesseler, 7159 Shad Avenue commented on request <br /> from audience and also letter he passed out to P & Z members. <br /> David Lutz, 7170 Shad Avenue also voiced opinion. After <br /> considerable discussion, motion by Tourville, second by <br /> Welk to refer matter to City Council because P & Z could not <br /> come to a conclusion and Mr. Stevens be allowed to appeal <br /> to Council with request, motion carried. <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Murray adjourn e <br /> y t d ourn h arin <br /> Y Y � g, <br /> motion carried.
