Planning and Zoning Meeting <br /> Tuesday - July 12, 1983 <br /> PRESENT: Dan Tourville Michael Ayers <br /> Melvin Dupre Kathy Welk (arrived later) <br /> Walter Prachar <br /> ABSENT: Bob LaMotte Bob Lindgren <br /> Elmer Murray <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM. <br /> Clerk advised P & Z that Mr. LaMotte has resigned as <br /> chairman because of health reasons. <br /> Mr. Earl Kieffer, 1594 Peltier Lake Drive appeared before <br /> committee to present plans for garage on his lot. Mr. <br /> Kieffer did not need an okay from P & Z. <br /> Messrs. Reed Arcand and Al Schrader appeared before P & Z <br /> with preliminary sketch of manufactured home park for area. <br /> Discussion was held on the park land dedication and consensus <br /> of P & Z was for developer to dedicate the land for a tot <br /> park and put in equipment before the city tkes it over for <br /> maintenance. <br /> Mr. James Frishmon and two other parties appeared before <br /> P & E with plans to erect a multi - family dwelling on <br /> Lots 7 & 8, Block 12, and Lots 4, 5, 6, Block 13. Discussion <br /> followed and they will appear later when plans are finalized. <br /> Mr. Randy Zarbok, 1745 Heritage Street appared before P & Z <br /> requesting variance to Ordinance #4, previously turned down <br /> by City Council. This request would require a 4'1" variance <br /> on the side yard because of garage construction of 22 x 24 <br /> instead of 24 x 24. Motion by Tourville, second by Ayers <br /> to grant variance to Ordinance #4, TABLE B- SCHEDULE OF <br /> DISTRICT REGULATIONS -LOT AND YARD REQUIREMENTS, R -2 SINGLE <br /> FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (sewered) side yard setback, motion <br /> carried. Variance granted because P & Z felt this was an <br /> older area of the community and Mr. Zarbok has a smaller <br /> lot than ususal in the city. <br /> Motion by Prachar, second by Tourville to adjourn, motion <br /> carried.
