r - <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING - TUESDAY - FEBRUARY 1, 1983 <br /> PRESENT: Bob LaMotte, Chairman <br /> Dan Tourville Elmer Murray <br /> Bob Lindgren Kathy Welk <br /> ABSENT: Walter Prachar Melvin Dupre <br /> Michael Ayers <br /> Chairman LaMotte called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM. <br /> Purpose of meeting was for P & Z members to review plat of <br /> Futura Village to be located on 20th Avenue North off of Main <br /> Street. <br /> Messrs. Beckler, Schrader, Alley, Walek and Ms. Joan Archer <br /> were in attendance for review. <br /> Walt Williams, City Engineer appeared before P &Z and submitted <br /> comments on same. Copy of comments and recommendations are <br /> on file with City Clerk. <br /> FUTURA VILLAGE STATISTICS: Acreage 10.8 <br /> Total number of homes proposed 43 <br /> Minimum lot area - 7500 sq. feet <br /> Gross Density: 3.95 /Acre <br /> Location: 20th Avenue North <br /> Messrs. Beckler and Alley presented slide presentation of <br /> similar project (pictures of existing homes) that were built <br /> in another project. <br /> Question and answer period followed. Several items brought <br /> up: park dedication and /or park development; size of homes; <br /> construction; homeowner's association; determination of which <br /> city ordinance a manufactured home development would plat <br /> under; outstanding bill from 1980 on previous plat. <br /> General consensus of P &Z was acceptance of this manufactured <br /> home concept. <br /> Motion by Murray, second by Lindgren to bring Ordinance #4 up <br /> to date according to state code and to propose amendments <br /> to Ordinance #4 making it possible for a manufactured home <br /> park to plat under the PUD portion of ordinance, motion held <br /> in abeyance until special meeting of P & Z on February 8th. <br /> Public Hearing on Futura Village set for February 23 is hereby <br /> cancelled. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Lindgren to adjourn, motion <br /> carried.
