PLANNING AND ZONING MmETING - TUESDAY - JULY 1, 1980 <br /> PRESENT: Bob LaMotte, Acting Chairman <br /> Mel Dupre Archie Gay <br /> Bob Lindgren Francis Burque, liaison <br /> Charles Bauman and Darlene Tourville, sttting in attendance <br /> ABSENT: Frank Zimny Joe Perkowski <br /> Ray Murray Tom Wilharber <br /> Acting Chairman LaMotte called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br /> Mr. Sonny DaBruzzi of Ro -So Contracting, Inc., appeared before <br /> P & Z concerning property he is interested in purchasing on <br /> 20th Avenue off of Main Street to erect a 3,000 square foot <br /> building for his business. Discussion was held on whether <br /> business could be conducted in commercial area. Mr. DaBruzzi <br /> will be appearing at future meeting after some investigation <br /> is done on his part. <br /> Mr. Rey Mattson of Accessory Research Engineering appeared before <br /> P & Z concerning the building he would like to put up on 20th <br /> Avenue off of Main Street. The building would be cement block, <br /> 6300 square feet or 50 x 126 x 20 with room for a parking lot on <br /> the north side of building. After discussion, motion was made <br /> by Dupre, second by Gay to accept Mr. Mattson's plan and submit <br /> to the City Council for consideration, motion carried. <br /> Bob LaMotte recommended filling Ray Murray's position on P & Z <br /> with Charles Bauman. Council will act on recommendation July 9th. <br /> Recommendation by L'Allier in audience for P & Z to look into the <br /> problem of structures on the city right of way. <br /> Motion by Dupre, second by Gay to adjourn, motion carried. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9:10 pm. <br /> Res.; fully submitted, <br /> t i PAchar, Clerk <br /> L <br />
