PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING <br /> 1. APRIL 6, 1977 <br /> PRESENT: Robert LaMotte; Chairman, Leon Williams, Tom Wilharber, <br /> Jerry Sundberg and Mel Dupre <br /> ABSENT: Bob Lindgren <br /> Purpose of meeting was to conduct a public hearing on the pre- <br /> liminary plat of Center Oaks and a petition for rezoning on <br /> a piece of property. <br /> The first public hearing was held on Center Oaks #1, 1st <br /> phase including 49 lots. Preliminary plat was gone over by <br /> P & Z and the following recommendations made to the council: <br /> 1. Deepening the existing ditch on the south boundary of the <br /> plat and the one between Lots 11 and 12, Block 2. <br /> 2. Lowering culverts on Lundblad and Tourville driveways. <br /> 3. Acquire ponding easements on Lots 11, 12 and 13, Block <br /> 2, and deeping ditch between two existing lots. <br /> 4. Deepening ditch from Center Street to the existing ditch <br /> on the south side of plat. <br /> 5. Provide a turn - around on the end of Pheasant Run and a <br /> turn- around on the end of Center Street. <br /> 6. R & 0 Sales would be responsible for financing improvements <br /> such as sewer, roads, grading, etc. <br /> 7. Provide our city attorney with abstract on the property. it <br /> 8. Cash escrow account be set up for engineering, legal <br /> and administrative fees. <br /> 9. Provide bond or cash for the improvements listed above. <br /> Jerry Sundberg made a recommendation to accept preliminary <br /> plat with the above provisions, Mel Dupre seconded it, motion <br /> carried. <br /> Bob LaMotte read the petition submitted from L & B Tree <br /> Service requesting that the SE* of the SE4 of Section 23, <br /> Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County be rezoned from agricul- <br /> tural- residential to commercial. <br /> Public Hearing on the above petition commenced at approximately <br /> 8:30 pm. Mr. Brokke of L & B Tree Service gave a brief outline <br /> of the 8.5 acres he now owns and what he plans to do with it <br /> and the 14.5 acres he wishes to have rezoned and what he plans <br /> to place on that piece of property. <br />
