PLANNING AND ZONING MEETING - TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1976 <br /> PRESENT: <br /> Bob LaMotte, Chairman <br /> Bob Lindgren <br /> Jerry Sundberg <br /> 1 Leon Williams <br /> Tom Wilharber <br /> Gordy Rehbein, Absent <br /> Walter Prachar <br /> John Peterson <br /> Fran Burque <br /> Marcel Rivard <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by Chairman LaMotte. <br /> Discussion on held on mobile home ordinance. They recommended <br /> the: Each unit shall have a gross area of not less than 7000 <br /> square feet; each unit shall have a minimum width of 70 feet <br /> measured at right angles to its side lines; a depth of 100' <br /> be included on #c under Site requirements; add an owner- occupant <br /> clause. <br /> 75' lots for home sites was discussed. Matter tabled until next <br /> meeting. <br /> Vern Peloquin appeared before P & Z with a proposal to change <br /> a 15' easement to a 60' street right of way in Subdivision <br /> #47 Revised. Matter was to be taken up at council meeting on <br /> the 8th of September and also reviewed by the Rice Creek Water- <br /> shed Board. <br /> Frank & Lynda Hentges appeared before P & Z with a proposal to <br /> subdivide his 5 acre piece of property on Mill Road to include <br /> his lot which he has already built a house and 2 lots of approx- <br /> imately 1 acre apiece. P & Z recommended to council to go along <br /> with proposal. Rice Creek Watershed would have to look at <br /> proposal before final approval. <br /> Discussion on the Centerville sewer was taken up. Mayor has <br /> recommended to Metro Council that the acreage in sewered area <br /> be increased to 390 acres to include 40 acres of the Center <br /> Oaks project. These additional acres would mean a 60 acre <br /> phasing in of 10 acres a year over a 6 year period. P & Z <br /> recommended that the additional acreage be phased in over <br /> the entire sewered area with the exception of property that <br /> was already platted. <br /> P & Z recommended that the variance on Peterson and Leibel <br /> property be granted by the council. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9:35 pm. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Lu Prachar, Clerk- Treasurer <br />
