PLANNING & ZONING MEETING October 2, 1973 <br /> PRESENT: <br /> Bob LaMotte <br /> Walter Prachar <br /> Tom Wilharber <br /> Mel Dupre <br /> Ken Salin <br /> Gordy Rehbein <br /> Joe LaCasse <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm. <br /> Discussed Ken Carpenter - building addition on his body shop <br /> 5.5" concrete fire wall needed to be allowable for living in <br /> addition. Ken wants to move his family into addition. The <br /> fear is that if a fire or explosion should happen, they could <br /> be trapped. If property is sold and the new owner would <br /> live there, the village could be held responsible if some- <br /> thing would happen. Joe LaCasse is going to talk to Dick <br /> and Marge Carpenter (Ken's parents). <br /> Wetlands Ordinance - needed to keep people from building on <br /> flood plains, etc. Went through Village of Orono ordinance <br /> to make it fit our purpose. Ordinance for Village of <br /> Centerville to be made up. <br /> Bob LaMotte said that he would like to have someone else <br /> take over as chairman.
