MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 1993 AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Centerville held a public hearing on Tuesday, February 2, 1993 at the City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing was to hear all persons present regarding the possibility of vacating and rerouting the northerly 060.00 feet • (approximately) of Mill Road. The approximate 660.00 feet of Mill Road is located north of the intersection of Peltier Lake Drive and Mill Road_ Acting Chairperson Welk called the public hearing to order at 7.04 p.In_ Present: Vermeulen, LaMotte, Drilling, City Council Liaison Brenner_ Absent: T.ourville_ • Acting Chairperson Welk summarized the purpose of public hearing and asked for comments from members of the audience. Mr_ Aubin also expressed concern that if the intersection is • slippery, he could end up with cars in his front yard_ Beth Zeug, 7294 Mill Road, was present_ Ms. Zeug noted that she likes the concept of having the road dead end north of her property_ Ms_ Zeug explained that area residents have expressed concern to her about the preserving of the trees_ The residents have expressed that they are happy the trees are being preserved_
