PUBLIC HEARING <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding a request for a variance from Ordinance #4, Section <br /> 34.06 - AMOUNT OF YARD OCCUPIED. - A detached accessory building <br /> not over one story and not exceeding twelve (12) feet in height <br /> may occupy not to exceed ten (10) percent square footage of the <br /> area of any rear yard. The request for variance is to construct <br /> a 26 x 30 detached garage exceeding ten (10) percent square <br /> footage of the area of the rear yard. The property is legally <br /> described as Lot 2, Block 1 - Royal Meadows. <br /> Due to an error by the Quad Community Press in the publication of <br /> the legal notice the Public Hearing was not called to order_ <br /> The Planning and Zoning Commission discussed with Curt Burn, 7169 <br /> West Robin Lane, his request for variance. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission held their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 10, <br /> 1992 at the City Hall. Chairperson Tourville called the meeting <br /> to order 7:40 p.m. Present: Drilling, LaMotte, Vermeulen, Welk_ <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to approve the October 13, <br /> 1992 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Request for Variance - 7169 West Robin Vane <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to move the Public Hearing <br /> for the Curt Burn's request for variance to build a detached <br /> accessory building exceed ten (10) percent square footage of the <br /> rear yard to the City Council level and direct Gunnar Pettersen, <br /> Building Inspector, to investigate the garage size in the Royal <br /> Meadows development as it relates Ordinance #4, Section 34.06 - <br /> AMOUNT OF YARD OCCUPIED, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Vermeulen to republish the public <br /> hearing notice for the variance request of Curt Burn, 7169 West <br /> Robin Lane, and reschedule the public hearing for the December 9, <br /> 1992 City Council meeting, motion carried unanimously_ <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Review of Ordinance #4, Article 7 <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Drilling to table discussion of <br /> Ordinance #4, Article 7 until the next meeting, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
