Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on April 14, 1992 at the City Hall. Chairperson Tourville called <br /> the meeting to order at 7 :05 p.m. Present: Drilling, LaMotte, <br /> Vermeulen, Welk, City Council Liaison Burgstahler. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Drilling to approve the February 11, <br /> 1992 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Vermeulen, second by Welk to approve the March 10, 1992 <br /> meeting minutes with the following amendment: <br /> Page 3, paragraph 9 <br /> Now Reads: '...It is the responsibility of the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt <br /> or disregard the Attorney's <br /> recommendation." <br /> Amend to Read: "...It is the responsibility of the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt <br /> or discuss the Attorney's <br /> recommendation." <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Jim and Joyce Stevens - Request to Construct Driveway within the <br /> Flood Plain Area - through Conditional Use Permit through <br /> Ordinance #33 -A FI,000PI,AIN <br /> Motion by LaMotte, second by Vermeulen to recommend that the City <br /> Council grant a Conditional Use Permit to Ordinance #33 -A <br /> FLOODPLAIN to bring in fill and build a driveway as proposed by <br /> James and Joyce Stevens on the land described as the South 662.45 <br /> feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section <br /> 24, Township 31, Range 22 except RD; subject to easement of <br /> record, contingent upon the following: <br /> - compliance with Ordinance #33 -A, Sections 5.23, 5.44 <br /> and 5.54; <br /> - compliance to the recommendations of the City Engineer <br /> in a letter dated February 11, 1992 regarding <br /> topographic survey and proposed driveway design for <br /> James and Joyce Stevens; <br /> - upon receipt of a written permit granted by the Rice <br /> Creek Watershed District for the proposed fill and <br /> driveway, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Vermeulen to add to the Conditional <br /> Use Permit that it shall be a requirement that the sand and fill <br /> from the original location at 7007 20th Avenue South, which is in <br /> violation of Ordinance #33 -A in the floodway, be removed, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br />
