r <br /> Meeting Minutes - P & Z <br /> September 4, 1990 <br /> page ten <br /> Chairman Tourville stated that a variance would be required for <br /> the setbacks if not addressed under the PUD. <br /> The Planning and Zoning Commission complied the following list of <br /> concerns that Gerald Rehbein needs to address before their next <br /> regular meeting! <br /> - Sidewalks <br /> - Nine ton road - sixty foot right -of -way (71 1/2 Street) <br /> - Seven ton road - sixty foot right -of -way (Wacota Court) <br /> - Parking <br /> - Park land <br /> - Drainage <br /> - Flood plain elevation <br /> - Setback variance - public hearing <br /> - Wacota Court to stay cul -de -sac <br /> - Emergency access left as is - removing berm <br /> - Landscape plan - trees to be included <br /> Mr. Rehbein stated that he needs feed back from Maier, Stewart & <br /> Associates regarding the grading and ponding. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Wilharber to direct City staff to <br /> initiate a public hearing to address Gerald Rehbein's request for <br /> a variance of the required setbacks for a planned unit <br /> development (Golden Meadows), motion carried unanimously. <br /> Preliminary Plat Review Checklist <br /> John Stewart, City Engineer, stated that he created this <br /> checklist according to the ordinance. The present ordinance <br /> requires all these things prior to acceptance of a preliminary <br /> plat. <br /> Tamara Miltz - Miller, Clerk /Administrator, stated that if Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission no longer wishes to require this things <br /> prior to the acceptance of a preliminary plat they must change - <br /> the ordinance. <br /> Mr. Stewart felt that the Planning and Zoning Commission may be <br /> mixing up a sketch plan and preliminary plat. Some of things can <br /> be addressed in a sketch plan. <br /> Chairman Tourville stated that he "feels" for the developer <br /> having to spend a lot of money on a preliminary plat were changes <br /> can become costly. <br /> Mr. Stewart stated that he could prepare something for the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission to review at their next meeting to <br /> try and structure stages of approval for a preliminary plat. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Drilling to withdraw the following <br />
