P & Z Meeting Minutes <br /> August 1, 1989 <br /> Page Three <br /> It was also noted that Commission members Tourville, Welk and <br /> Vermeulen were not receiving their Minnesota Cities Magazine, and <br /> would appreciate Clerk /Administrator checking into this. <br /> Motion by Tourville, second by Vermeulen to request the following <br /> budget amount for 1990: <br /> $650.00 Meetings <br /> $ 30.00 Magazines <br /> $150.00 Seminars <br /> $1200.00 Maps <br /> $2030.00 Total for 1990 <br /> noting that the amount requested is the same as the budget amount <br /> for 1989, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Liaison Neumann updated the Commission members on the August 9, <br /> 1989 City Council meeting. Commission members have been <br /> requested to attend as the Council will be addressing the issue <br /> of County improvements to Main Street. The Council is looking <br /> for Commission members input on specifics of this improvement. <br /> Commission member Lindgren noted that he will be unable to attend <br /> this meeting. He also noted that he will be resigning from the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission effective after the September <br /> meeting. Mr.Lindgren has served on the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission for 15 years. <br /> Liaison Neumann updated the Commission members on the options the <br /> Council was researching for a new municipal facility. <br /> Chairman Tourville stated his agreement with the need for a new <br /> municipal facility, but cautioned against the possibility of over <br /> taxing the residents of Centerville and putting the City in a <br /> regressive position. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Vermeulen to adjourn meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />
