Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes <br /> Page 2 <br /> April 4, 1989 <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Lindgren to recommend that the City <br /> Council grant a variance to Ordinance #4, TABLE B, FRONT YARD <br /> SETBACK, for the owners of 1567 Peltier Lake Drive to extend the <br /> present structure six feet closer to the street, contingent upon <br /> the use of the plans presented at the February 4, 1989 meeting. <br /> Reason for granting the variance is: <br /> 65.03 -1 - Because the lot already has a house on it and <br /> because of the square footage of the present <br /> structure, special conditions and circumstances <br /> exist which are peculiar to this property and are <br /> not the result of actions of the petitioner, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Scherbel asked the Assistant City Clerk to have the <br /> Clerk /Administrator put their variance request on the April 12, <br /> 1989, City Council agenda. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> A discussion of the Cities plans to possibly lower the flood <br /> plain for residents and commercial businesses south of Main <br /> Street took place. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by Vermeulen, to adjourn the meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously.
