Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> Page Two <br /> November 3, 1987 <br /> Discussion of City maps. The 1988 City Budget states $2,156. has <br /> been budgeted for P &Z. The August 4 minutes gives the following <br /> breakdown for P &Z monies: <br /> $ 900.00 for meetings <br /> 100.00 for seminars <br /> 1,200_00 for City maps <br /> $2,200.00 Total 1988 Budget <br /> Member Welk asked if there was any money left in the 1987 Budget <br /> that could carry over into 1988. Assistant Clerk will look into <br /> this and report back to the Commission at the next meeting. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Vermeulen to buy base and zoning maps <br /> from the City Engineers, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Any other Old Business? <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of staggering terms for P &Z. Chairman Tourville feels <br /> Ordinance #37 needs revision. Member Welk feels we are lucky to <br /> have gotton the five members we have, and one year terms may <br /> cause more problems. Chairman Tourville doesn't foresee any more <br /> vacancies at this time. <br /> Chairman Tourville stated P &Z is in agreement and recommends to <br /> City Council that membership be reconfirmed each year as in the <br /> past. <br /> Any other New Business? <br /> Dl t.UUb Vl Oldi laLLtst i1'4 followed. V11a11111a11 1V� , would <br /> A 1 V 1 1 1 G w V U 1 U <br /> like to see Ord. #4 rewritten by City staff with amendments <br /> written into it before changing anything else, Assistant Clerk <br /> will discuss time needed for this with the City Clerk. <br /> It was decided to meet November 24 instead of November 17 to give <br /> more time to prepare and because of the possibility of the new <br /> member being present at that time. <br /> Discussion of necessity of the City Clerk or the Building <br /> Inspector being present at the November 24 meeting. Commission <br /> asks that Inspector Pettersen make a list of his likes and <br /> dislikes concerning Ordinance #4 and changes he recommends. They <br /> feel the City Clerk need not be present at the first meeting. <br /> Motion by Welk, second by Vermeulen to adjourn the meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br />
