Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning 8. Zoning Commission of
<br /> the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on August 4, 1987 at City
<br /> Hall. Chairman Tourville called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Present:
<br /> Buesseler, Lindgren, Vermeulen, Council liaison Neumann. Absent: Welk.
<br /> notion by Buesseler, second by Lindgren to amend the July 7 minutes page 4,
<br /> paragraph 1, from: (the most southerly 16.5 foot parcel in question could be
<br /> used by itself.), to read: (the most southerly 16.5 foot parcel in question
<br /> could not be used by itself.), motion carried unanimously.
<br /> Motion by Buesseler, second by Lindgren to accept the minutes of the July 7,
<br /> 1987, meeting, motion carried unanimously.
<br /> CLD GUSIMESS
<br /> Pete Johnston of P.O. Box 310, Forest Lake, submitted a request for approval
<br /> of the concept of a redesignation of Lot Line common to Lot #3 and Lot #4, Block
<br /> #2 - Durque Addition #1. The purpose being to make Lot 1/3 more saleable.
<br /> An agreement between the two pLrties, 'ir. Johnston, owner cf 1585 Peltier Lake
<br /> Drive - Lot #3 and Jeffrey and Shirley Godwin, residents and owners of 1581
<br /> Peltier Lake Drive - Lot #4 is on file with the City Clerk.
<br /> Motion by Guesseler, second by Vermeulen to give tentative approval to the
<br /> concept of a redesignation of Lot Line common to Lot #3 and Lot #4, Block ,=;2
<br /> - Burque Addition 01, as proposed based on findings of fact, motion carried
<br /> unanimously.
<br /> The above approved concept will not continue to the Council as no action is
<br /> required at this time.
<br /> Discussion of the Wegleitner Addition. Commission Member Buesseler suggests
<br /> amending Ordinance 1/4, Schedule of District Regulations, Permitted and Special
<br /> Uses, as he is not comfortable with Commercial Uses as we now have them.
<br /> Commission :1ember Vermuelen feels it should be Commercial but does not want
<br /> undesirable businesses there. Vermuelen also feels a need to !mend Ord. '4,
<br /> regarding Commercial Use.

<br /> to delete 07. Wholesale Businesses, #10. Auto Sales, Service a repair, ;. #11.
<br /> Motor Fuel Stations, and 015. Construction Businesses, under M -1 Commercial
<br /> P[.MITTEG PRINCIPAL USES and reassign those uses to USES PER ?IITTED ON SPECIAL
<br /> USE PERMIT - #'s 10., 11., 12., and 13. Date of hearing set, Sept. 1, 1987,
<br /> motion carried unanimously.
<br /> Commission Member Duesseler was concerned about contacting other commercial
<br /> businesses. It was the concensus of the Commission and Council liaison Neumann
<br /> that this is not required and sufficient notice will be printed in the paper.

<br /> of the Wegleitner property on Main Street from Residential to Commercial,
<br /> contingent upon revision of Ord. 04, USES 'WITHI!I THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, as
<br /> addressed in the previous motion, motion carried unanimously.
<br /> Note reasons: 1. In 1932, the City approved the Weglitner Addition that
<br /> proposed Commercial in that Plat.
