Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Planning and Zoning <br /> Commission of Centerville held a public hearing Tuesday, July 7, <br /> 1987 at City Hall. Chairman Tourville called the hearing to <br /> order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Buesseler, Welk, Lindgren, Council <br /> liaison Neumann. Absent: Vermeulen. <br /> The purpose of the hearing was to hear all persons present <br /> regarding a request for variance to Ordinance #8 to straighten <br /> lot lines by purchasing or land swapping of the parcels involved. <br /> Charles Underwood would obtain title to the property: <br /> Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 7, Block 3, <br /> Centerville thence North 50 feet along the northerly <br /> extension of the East line of Lot 7, Block 3, Centerville; <br /> thence West 15 feet along the North line of vacated Westview <br /> Street; thence South 50 feet parallel to the northerly <br /> extension of the East line of Lot 7, Block 3, Centerville; <br /> thence East 15 feet along the North line of Lot 7, Block 3, <br /> Centerville to the point of beginning. <br /> Donald Opp would obtain title to the properties: <br /> The South 30 feet of the East 25 feet of Lot 9, Block 3 in <br /> the Village of Centerville. <br /> The East 15 feet of the North 20 feet of Lot 9, Block 3, <br /> Centerville. <br /> Parts of Lots number 3, 4 and 5 of Block 3 in village of <br /> Centerville described as follows: Commencing at the <br /> northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 3 in the village of <br /> Centerville, thence North 0 degrees 14 minutes 08 <br /> seconds East along the east line of said Lot 3 a distance <br /> of 49.93 feet to the norhteast corner of said Lot 3 thence <br /> North 6 degrees 43 minutes 36 seconds West a distance of <br /> 66 feet, thence North 1 degree 32 minutes 16 seconds West <br /> to a point 6 feet south of the North line of said Lot 5 <br /> thence West parallel with said North line of said Lot 5 to <br /> a point distance of 74 feet east of west line of caid Lot 5, <br /> thence Southeasterly 147 feet to the point of Beginning. <br /> The East 15 feet of Lot 8, Block 3, Centerville except the <br /> North 6 feet of the East 15 feet thereof. <br /> Donald Opp, 1745 Main Street and Charles Underwood 7128 Progress <br /> Road presented the request. Discussion of variance request <br /> followed.
