.1 <br /> CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> DECEMBER 6, 1995 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of <br /> Centerville held their regular scheduled meeting on December 6, 1995. Meeting was <br /> called to order at 6:42 p.m. Members present: Thompson, Larson, Bisek, Navin, Pelton <br /> and proposed new member Johnson. <br /> • October meeting minutes were approved. <br /> • No November meeting minutes due to lack of quorum. <br /> • Noted that Councilmember Buckbee was not present. <br /> • P &R approved the use of ballfields for the Chain of Lakes Little League. The Little <br /> League will send a schedule of dates and times to P &R, but the schedule should be the <br /> same as last years season. <br /> • P &R approved the use of the concession stand for the Little League. <br /> • P &R member Larson will work with Pat Maki on getting egg lime on the fields - 4 <br /> loads of lime are needed. <br /> • LaMotte property negotiations still being handled by City Council and the LaMottes. <br /> P &R gives their support to City Council. <br /> • MOTION by Navin, second by Pelton for recommendation to City Council to adopt a <br /> Multi Housing, Commercial, Industrial park dedication ordinance modeled after Lino <br /> Lakes Ordinance #05 -91. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • No change to single family homes dedication fees. <br /> • Note or reminder to City Council: P &R would like to exercise the responsibility to <br /> apply the park dedication ordinance to each development proposed. P &R would like <br /> clarification as to where this fits in the process with P &Z and City Council. Also to <br /> please let P &R know what happened with Acorn Creek II dedication and the Acorn <br /> Creek I park easement. <br /> • MOTION by Thompson, second by Navin that Public Works flood the rink every day. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br />
