CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> SEPTEMBER 6, 1995 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of <br /> Centerville held their regular scheduled meeting on September 6, 1995. Meeting was <br /> called to order at 6:41 p.m. Members present: Thompson, Larson, Bisek and Navin. <br /> Absent: Pelton. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> Pelton was present at the August meeting and should be noted, she arrived late. <br /> MOTION by Thompson, second by , to approve the August 2, 1995 <br /> meeting minutes with the above correction. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> None, <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> North Metro Recreation <br /> Park and Recreation request that Trudi Breuninger contact Carl Saarion to provide <br /> specific information for a period of time, i.e. 1994, of the number of Centerville residents <br /> participation in North Metro, Information is requested for October meeting. <br /> Title U <br /> Park and Recreation Committee recognizes the requirements of Title II and subject to <br /> financial parameters, wholeheartedly support Title II actions. <br /> Public Works Performance Criteria <br /> Committee member Bisek gave an update of the progress on this subject. Bisek has been <br /> working with Paul Palzer on this and discussed various issues with the members. The <br /> discussion on this subject 1* P &R committee indicates the following: <br /> - financial resources is not presently adequate to maintain existing parks. <br /> - the financial resources limit the appropriate use of manpower and equipment <br /> necessary to do a good job. <br /> J ,and Dedication <br /> MOTION by Thompson, second by Bisek to table this issue until Park and Recreation <br /> Committee member Pelton is present. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 1 <br />
