CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PARK AND RECREATION <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> Wednesday, May 3, 1995 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, May 3, 1995, at the City Hall. Present: Bisek, <br /> Navin, Thompson, Pelton. Absent: Larson. Meeting was called to <br /> order at 6:51 p.m. <br /> APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES <br /> Could not approve meeting minutes of April 12, 1995, without the <br /> presence of Larson. <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> Gerald Alexander, proposed new P &R member was not present. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Park & Pedestrian Comp Plan Priorities <br /> Recreation Programming <br /> Pedestrian System <br /> Central Park Expansion <br /> Operation & Maintenance Program <br /> These are our four top priorities. Each is equal in importance. <br /> We will work on these on an ongoing basis. The Recreation <br /> Programming will be #1 under Old Business in June. <br /> 2. Financial Report - Rick Thompson <br /> Thompson updated P &R members on the current accounting practices <br /> for P &R funds, balances, cash flows, etc. <br /> Motion by Pelton, second by Navin to assign Thompson to develop a <br /> financial accounting system and track P &R funds more accurately and <br /> timely, motion carried unanimously. <br /> 3. Title 2 - In June packet, include info on who is responsible <br /> for this in Centerville. What is P &R required to do, in writing <br /> please. <br /> 4. Parks Renaming - P&R request a formal response from City <br /> Council regarding this matter. Please refer to April 12, 1995, <br /> meeting minutes. <br /> 5. Park Dedication Fees - P&R needs park dedication fee from <br /> Centerville City Council to take action on this. <br />
