PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3, 1994 - 6:30 P.M. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, August 3, 1994 at the City Hall. Chairperson Dixon called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. Present: Drilling, Pelton, Thompson, Reisdorfer. Absent: Navin, Larson. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: July 6. 1994 meeting minutes. Motion by Dixon, second by Drilling to approve the July 6, 1994 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. APPEARANCES: Bill Bisek, Kelly's Korner, was present to discuss the Night Golf Fund Raiser. OLD BUSINESS: Night Golf Fund Raiser. The 1993 profit from the Night Golf Fund Raiser was $100.00. The weather in 1993 was cold. The participants enjoyed the 1993 night golf tournament. It was recommended that an earlier date be set for 1994's night golf tournament. A clean -up crew was also recommended. Bill Bisek, Kelly's Korner, has volunteered again to help with night golf fund raiser. The proposed date will be Friday, September 23, 1994. Motion by Dixon, second by Reisdorfer to have a 1994 Night Golf Fund Raiser; Steve Dixon will assist Bill Bisek with plans; - sign up ahead of time at Kelly's Korner; - there will be a limit of 72 participants, motion carried unanimously. Assignment of Park & Recreation Committee Responsibilities. Discussion was held regarding Committee member Pelton's Action Plan. The specific assignments are integrated into the action plan. Action Plan /Time Lines. The Park and Recreation Committee reviewed an Action Plan prepared by Committee member Pelton. A copy of this plan is attached to and made a part of these minutes. Motion by Pelton, second by Thompson to adopted the action plan as revised without completion dates, motion carried unanimously. City Survey Results.
