P&R MEETING MINUTES <br /> MAY 4, 1994 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> Drilling will check with Chairperson <br /> Dixon and Committee member Reisdorfer <br /> about equipment to order up to $2,000.00 <br /> mark." <br /> Amend to Read: "Committee member Drilling would like to <br /> invest about $2,000.00 at Royal Meadows <br /> park, and the Water Tower Park combined <br /> for basketball and playground <br /> equipment." <br /> Page Two, Paragraph Seven: <br /> Now Reads: "Motion by Navin, second by Drilling to <br /> allow Committee member Drilling to order <br /> playground equipment, basketball <br /> equipment and get three bids for basket <br /> ball pads..." <br /> Amend to Read: "Motion by Navin, second by Drilling to <br /> allow Committee member Drilling to order <br /> playground equipment, basketball <br /> equipment and get three bids for basket <br /> ball pads and sidewalks..." <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Park and Pedestrian System Comprehensive Plan. <br /> At this point the Park and Recreation Committee has no additional <br /> suggestions or changes, but we plan to attend the May 17, 1994 <br /> joint meeting. <br /> Ordinance Establishing Park and Recreation Committee. <br /> Tabled. <br /> Central Park - LAWCON Program. <br /> Committee member Larson will talk to Paul Palzer, Public Works <br /> Director /Building Inspector in regards to getting the <br /> improvements necessary to Central Park completed per the LAWCON <br /> request. <br /> Usage of Utility Room for Storage by Centennial Little League. <br /> Other organizations do not have access to the building now and <br /> thus have no way to get to the phone even if it wasn't in the <br /> furnace room. We see no need to move the existing phone. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would like the <br /> Clerk /Administrator to direct City staff to look into getting a <br /> pay phone installed outside the building. What are the costs, <br /> etc. <br />
