P &R MEETING MINUTES <br /> DECEMBER 1, 1993 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> the rink, for a cost not to exceed $500.00, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Rink Attendants. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer is in the process of collecting the <br /> applications and then will begin the interviewing process. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Extension Central Park Appraisal. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to advise the City Council <br /> that the purchase of the of the additional park land abutting <br /> Central Park is the Park and Recreation Committee's highest <br /> priority; <br /> - the Park and Recreation Committee recommends that the <br /> land be purchased as soon as possible; <br /> - this parcel is vital to the Park and Trail <br /> Comprehensive Plan; <br /> - if it is not purchased, the Park and Trail <br /> Comprehensive Plan will need to be totally redesigned; <br /> - the Park and Recreation Committee is willing to meet <br /> with the City Council to work out the details as the <br /> they requested, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> Ordinance Establishing a Park and Recreation Committee. <br /> Discussion of an ordinance establishing a Park and Recreation <br /> Committee was tabled. <br /> ADJOURN: <br /> Motion by Navin, second by Reisdorfer to adjourn the meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously.
