PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 1993 - 6:30 P.M. <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, November 3, 1993 at the City Hall. Chairperson <br /> Dixon called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Present: <br /> Drilling, Larson, Navin, Reisdorfer. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> September 1. 1993 meeting minutes. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to approve the September 1, <br /> 1993 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Centennial Hockey Association <br /> Ian and Carolyn Pickle, 7122 Brian Drive, Representatives of the <br /> Centennial Hockey Association, were present. Mr. and Ms. Pickle <br /> expressed concern about having more ice time in Centerville and <br /> the ice not being properly prepared last year. Mr. and Ms. <br /> Pickle noted that would also like more supervision of the ice <br /> rink. <br /> It was noted that Centennial Hockey was in charge of the <br /> preparation of the ice rinks. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to tentatively allow the <br /> Centennial Hockey Association use of the facility based on these <br /> requirements: <br /> - the Centennial Hockey Association supplies a schedule <br /> of the times and days they wish to use the facility by <br /> the December meeting; <br /> - flooding is to be done by the Centennial Hockey <br /> Association on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday <br /> whether or not they use the rink; <br /> - one warning will be issued and if the flooding is not <br /> done a second time, the Centennial Hockey Association <br /> will not be allowed to use the facility; <br /> for the following days: <br /> - Monday 5:30 - 9:30 <br /> - Tuesday 5:30 - 9:30 <br /> - Wednesday 5:30 - 9:30 <br /> - Thursday 5:30 - 9:30, <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Installation of Timbers - Water Tower Park. <br /> Committee member Navin updated the Park and Recreation Committee <br /> on the installation of the timbers at Water Tower Park.
