P&R MEETING MINUTES <br /> MARCH 3, 1993 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee appeared to be in agreement to <br /> invite a salesman from Landscape Structure to a Park and <br /> Recreation Committee meeting. <br /> Committee member Navin will check into a 1/2 basketball court. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer will gather budget data. <br /> PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS: <br /> J,TGHTS AT HOCKEY RINK BRING LEFT ON 24 HOURS PER DAY. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee noted that one light only is <br /> being left on not all of them. The reason it is left on is to <br /> prevent vandalism. Secondly one new light is much brighter than <br /> the old ones. The Park and Recreation Committee is seeking bids <br /> for building lights to eliminate the need for the one hockey <br /> light. <br /> CONDITION OF HOCKEY RINK. <br /> It was noted that there has been some trouble with flooding and <br /> weather. The rink attendants could have done a better job, <br /> however, the weather in January did not help the condition. <br /> Chairperson Dixon suggested a daily log of weather conditions and <br /> flooding activity. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee discussed the complaint about <br /> the "problem child ". <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Neil Pe 7176 Clear Ridge - Request for ilse of Central <br /> Perk Facilities. <br /> Neil Reisdorfer, 7176 Clear Ridge, appeared before the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee to request use of the Central Park softball <br /> facilities on June 12, 1993. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by Drilling to approve Neil Reisdorfer's, <br /> 7176 Clear Ridge, request for use of the Central Park softball <br /> field on June 12, 1993. AYE - Navin; AYE - Dixon; AYE- <br /> Drilling; AYE - Larson; ABSTAIN - Reisdorfer, motion carried. <br /> Centennial Little League's Appearance before the City Council. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee expressed their disappointment <br /> to City Council Liaison Helmbrecht concerning the City Council <br /> and the Council's handling of the Centennial Little League's <br /> complaint.
