MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br /> PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br /> OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> HELD ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1993 <br /> AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, February 3, 1993 at the City Hail_ Chairperson <br /> Dixon called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m_ Present: • <br /> Drilling, Larson, Reisdorfer. Absent: Navin. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by Reisdorfer to approve the January 6, <br /> 1993 meeting minutes with the following correction: <br /> Page One - Centerville Lions - Request for Donation <br /> Now Reads: "Committee member Navin has not attended <br /> a Centerville Lions meeting_ Committee <br /> member Navin will look into it soon_" <br /> Amend to Read: "Chairperson Dixon has not attended a <br /> • <br /> Centerville Lions meeting_ Chairperson <br /> Dixon will look into it soon_ ", <br /> motion carried unanimously_ <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Pill Bice} - Ke11y Korner - Reciu st f Us f Bali F ±e ds <br /> Jim Svenkeson and Bill Bisek, Owner Kelly "s Korner Bar, were <br /> present to discuss their request for use of the Central Park ball <br /> fields_ <br /> At the January 6, 1993 meeting the Park and Recreation Committee <br /> approved Dili Bisek Kelly"s Korner, request for use of the <br /> bail fields for two nights (Monday and Wednesday) per week_ The <br /> approval for the use of the ball fields was contingent upon Mr. <br /> Bisek discussing contributions to the maintenance of the ball <br /> fields. <br /> Mr_ Bisek noted that he is open to the helping with the <br /> maintenance of the ball fields. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee will continue discussion of Mr. <br /> Bisek"s contribution to the maintenance of the ball fields at e <br /> later date. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee informed Mr_ Bisek of the <br /> requirement of a $200.00 deposit for keys to the Park building. <br />
