MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA HELD ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 1993 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Wednesday, February 3, 1993 at the City Hail_ Chairperson Dixon called the meeting to order at 5:40 p.m_ Present: • Drilling, Larson, Reisdorfer. Absent: Navin. MINUTES Motion by Dixon, second by Reisdorfer to approve the January 6, 1993 meeting minutes with the following correction: Page One - Centerville Lions - Request for Donation Now Reads: "Committee member Navin has not attended a Centerville Lions meeting_ Committee member Navin will look into it soon_" Amend to Read: "Chairperson Dixon has not attended a • Centerville Lions meeting_ Chairperson Dixon will look into it soon_ ", motion carried unanimously_ OLD BUSINESS: Pill Bice} - Ke11y Korner - Reciu st f Us f Bali F ±e ds Jim Svenkeson and Bill Bisek, Owner Kelly "s Korner Bar, were present to discuss their request for use of the Central Park ball fields_ At the January 6, 1993 meeting the Park and Recreation Committee approved Dili Bisek Kelly"s Korner, request for use of the bail fields for two nights (Monday and Wednesday) per week_ The approval for the use of the ball fields was contingent upon Mr. Bisek discussing contributions to the maintenance of the ball fields. Mr_ Bisek noted that he is open to the helping with the maintenance of the ball fields. The Park and Recreation Committee will continue discussion of Mr. Bisek"s contribution to the maintenance of the ball fields at e later date. The Park and Recreation Committee informed Mr_ Bisek of the requirement of a $200.00 deposit for keys to the Park building.
