Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Monday, September 10, 1990 at City Hall. Chairperson Dixon <br /> called the meeting to order at 6 :00 p.m. Present: Drilling, <br /> LeTendre, Downing, Reisdorfer. <br /> Park Tour <br /> Members of the Park and Recreation Committee toured the Water <br /> Tower, Royal Meadows and potential park land north of the Center <br /> Hills development. The following recommendations were made: <br /> A.) Water Tower Park <br /> 1. Fence around tower and shed <br /> A. Sign (wood with burned out letters) with name and <br /> hours <br /> 3. Six car asphalt parking spaces close to road <br /> 4. Grading - flat but save big trees <br /> Member Reisdorfer will be liaison person with <br /> City Engineer <br /> 5. Landscaping - Member Drilling will talk to Carol <br /> Peiton for ideas <br /> B.) Royal Meadows <br /> 1. Fence by path is in the wrong place. Orville <br /> Hughes, Public Works Director, should find the <br /> stake either with a metal detector or surveyor. <br /> Member LeTendre will find out what the cost is to <br /> fix it. <br /> Put wood chips on path between houses from street, <br /> to park. Put rocks in swaie by park first. Put <br /> heavy duty landscape edging on edges of path.
