Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, July 10, 1990 at City Hall. Acting Chairman LeTendre <br /> called the meeting to order at 7:25 p.m. Present: Downing, <br /> Reisdorfer, Clerk /Administrator Miltz - Miller. Absent: Dixon, <br /> Drilling. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Downing to approve the June 12, <br /> 1990 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Minnesota Department of Trade and Economic Development. <br /> Discussion to contact Marcia Taubr to make sidewalk around <br /> Central Park warming house easier for handicap accessibility. <br /> Night Golf Fund Raiser <br /> Dates approved by the City Council to hold the Night Golf Fund <br /> Raiser on Friday, September 7, 1990 and Friday, October 5, 1990. <br /> Committee member Downing will be responsible for the <br /> advertisement of the Night Golf Tournament, <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> City Celebration <br /> Will be considered a "kick -off" of the open house of the warming <br /> house at Central Park. Games were discussed; water balloon toss, <br /> three- legged race, volleyball, shoe toss and find. Will have <br /> games available for all age ranges. Food, still under <br /> consideration, will be hot dogs, popcorn, punch. Will sell one <br /> item, i.e. hot dogs. <br /> List of laborers will be gathered and named in recognition of <br /> building the warming house. <br /> Point made by Clerk /Administrator Milts- Miller to have booths for <br /> crafts set up in the ice rink. This will be looked into for next <br /> year's City Celebration due to the time of year. <br /> 1991 Budget <br /> Breakdown of 1991 Budget due by August 15, 1990. <br /> Will hold special meeting Tuesday, July 17, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. to <br /> discuss the 1991 budget, Golf Tournament and City Celebration. <br /> LeTendre discussed the possible purchase of a used 24 hours <br /> power, 1985 brush and mower deck tractor. Purpose to purchase <br /> would be to brush the hockey rink during winter months. <br /> J <br />
