r <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> • Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday June 12, 1990 at City Hall. Chairman Dixon called the <br /> meting to order at 8:00 p.m. Present: LeTendre, Drilling. <br /> Downing, Reisdorfer. <br /> • Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Drilling to approve the May 8, <br /> • <br /> 1990 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> REVISE 1990 BUDGET <br /> Budget revisions were made to bring the total 1910 budget to <br /> $26,423.30. <br /> Motion by Drilling, second by D=awning to accept the revised 1990 <br /> budget, motion carried unanimously. <br /> SLIGHT GOLF FUND RAISER <br /> Discussion on dates for the night golf fund raiser. The dates of <br /> September !, 1990 and October 5, 1990 will be submitted to the <br /> Anoka County Parks Department for approval. <br /> NORTH METRO R, CREATION COMMISSION - JOINS_ POWERS AGREEMENT= <br /> SEGD DRS <br /> The North Metro Recreation Commission Joint Powers Agreement was <br /> discussed. The Park and Recreation Committee would like <br /> clarification on page 13, item D. "The Commission may collect <br /> monies from parties subject to the provision's of this Agreement. <br /> These monies shag l not affect the base amount for the ensuing <br /> fiscal year." <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to recommend tha l• the City <br /> Council approve the North Metro Recreation Commission - Joint <br /> Powers Agreement - Second second Dr'a1t, contingent upon clarification of <br /> page 13, item D, motion carried unanimously. <br /> RESTROOMS AT CENTRAL PARK <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee decided that the restrooms at <br /> Central Park are to be opened and closed by the Little League <br /> Coaches. There is a lock box on the door that holds a key to the <br /> warming house. The coaches know the combination and only one key <br /> is out. The Park and Recreation Committee feels that leaving the <br /> re=;trooms open all the time is asking for trouble and major <br /> expenses. <br /> L . <br />
