Committee nominee Downing will <br /> look into rearranging her schedule to attend. <br /> EABILMATNTENANCE <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by Drilling to recommend to the City <br /> Council to direct the Public Works Department to be responsible <br /> for par maintenance within the budget of the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee and the City, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Note to the above: Maintenance needs are becoming more of a day- <br /> to-day operation and it may be better for the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee to operate more as a policy, planning and recreation <br /> program coordinating body. <br /> COMPLAINT <br /> A resident located adjacent to the Royal. Meadows Park has <br /> complained about damage to their property from park activity due <br /> to not having a fence separating the properties. A fence had <br /> been previously promised. <br /> Motion by Dixon , second by Drilling for both Committee members <br /> Dixon and Drilling to take action to obtain cost estimates and <br /> award the job at the June 12, 1990 meeting, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Also, the Park and Recreation Committee directs City Staff to <br /> write a letter to the resident advising them as such <br /> OTHER <br /> A general discussion followed pertaining to the Park and <br /> Recreation Committees responsibilities and procedures. <br /> I. <br />
