Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Parks <br /> and Recreation Committee held their regular meeting on December <br /> 12, 1989 at City Hall. Chairman Dixon called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:15 p.m. Present: Dixon, LeTendre, Kupfer, Paschke. <br /> Motion by Dixon second by Kupfer to approve the minutes of the <br /> November 14, 1989 meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Rick Houle, Matt Brewster, and Amy Brewster were present for the <br /> position of rink attendants. Steve Dixon to check on working <br /> hours for attendants under the age of sixteen. Names and numbers <br /> were taken. Dixon to follow up to attendants for scheduling. <br /> Mayor Haberman, Marty Asleson, and Dave Lutz were present to <br /> discuss the position of a Joint Powers Recreation Coordinator. <br /> Parks and Recreation Committee has not received any applications <br /> for the open positions as of yet. <br /> Motion by LeTendre, second by Kupfer to buy materials and labor <br /> to finish plumbing at warming house not to exceed $1,400. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Discussion of future school district walkways tabled until <br /> further information can be evaluated and prioritized. Dixon and <br /> LeTendre to bring comprehensive plans for Parks and Recreation <br /> members to review. <br /> Dixon and LeTendre to install phone line to warming house, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Dixon to check on cost of buying a new or used trailer for <br /> hauling equipment to and from warming house Parks and Recreation <br /> to check with City Council to share in cost of trailer. <br /> Motion by LeTendre, second by Dixon to adjourn meeting.
