City of Centerville Parks and Recreation Committee Minutes of Meeting <br /> held October 10, 1989. <br /> Present: Dixon Smith Pelton, Council Liaison <br /> Paschke Letendre <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. Park and Recreation Committee <br /> member Lisa Smith resigned. <br /> Chad Liebel was present to request being considered for a rink attendant <br /> for the 1989 -90 skating season. He will ask others that might be interested <br /> in applying for a rink attendant position. <br /> LeTendre mad a motion to write a letter to the Columbus Township Lions <br /> requesting funds to help complete the Central Park project. Second by <br /> Paschke, motion carried. <br /> Park and Recreation Committee requests the City Clerk to send Mayor Haberman <br /> the resolution regulatiting the baseball fee. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to request that park land in the Northeast district <br /> be 2 -4 acre parcels, a total of 8 adjoining acres with the shape to be <br /> somewhat rectangular, with minimum road frontage, no ponds, no drainage <br /> ditches, utility easements, that it be graded with turf established, generally <br /> flat and dry, with a sewer stub, and a sidewalk leading from the Hardwoods <br /> Pond Park. Second by Paschke, motion carried. <br /> Park and Recreation Committee requests the City Clerk to put an ad in the <br /> newspaper advertising for a Park and Recreation Committee member. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to adjourn meeting at 9:30 p.m. Second by Paschke, <br /> motion carried. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> v 5,1% <br /> Cindy Paschke <br />
