Minutes of the Parks and Recreation Committee <br /> Tuesday, May 9, 1989 <br /> Present: Jerry LeTendre Steve Dixon <br /> Lisa Smith Dan Kupfer <br /> Council Liason <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.rn. <br /> Motion by Smith to accept. April 1989 minutes as presented. <br /> Second by Kupfer. <br /> No member of the P &k Committee received a list of agenda for the <br /> May meeting. Therefore, we discussed the most current business, <br /> and kept the meeting short. <br /> Jerry has stated that Anoka County has approved the use of the <br /> golf course for the P &R Glow Golf Tournament, to be held during <br /> June. Motion by Dan to buy the golf materials needed for <br /> adequate supply; second by Smith. Motion by LeTendre to charge <br /> $22 per person for entry into the tournament; second by Dixon. <br /> Estimated net profit from the first fund- raiser is $1,000. The <br /> question of what to do with the funds was asked. Motion by <br /> LeTendre to get bids on putting in a sewer at the Central Park <br /> facilities. Unanimously accepted. <br /> All other business tabled until June. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m. <br /> • <br />
