4 Park imilmilsOmmelrCommittee Minutes <br /> April 12, 1988 - 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members Present: Carol Pelton Steve Dixon <br /> Cindy Paschke Jerry LeTendre <br /> Walt Newmann, Council Liaison <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> Gerald Rehbein representing Rehbein Estates, and Dave Heller <br /> from Heritage Development were present to discuss possible <br /> park dedications in their respective developments. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to accept the March minutes as written, <br /> seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, gave P & R an update on <br /> things that need to be done in Central Park. (notes from Orville <br /> enclosed) <br /> Bids have been accepted for the mowing of Central Park, and have <br /> been awarded to Dan Tourville. Bids were closed at the March <br /> meeting. <br /> Friday, May 6th, will be Arbor Day at Central Park. <br /> Cars are being parked in Royal Meadows Park. It was suggested <br /> that a sign stating, "No Parking on Park Property" be put up. <br /> Orville Hughes said he has a "No Parking" that he could put up. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to appropriate up to $150 for a weed eater, <br /> seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to accept the 1988 Budget as proposed, <br /> seconded by Dixon, unanimously accepted. <br /> P & R discussed their recommendation with Heritage Development <br /> for park dedication as written in the March minutes. <br /> Gerald Rehbein of Rehbein Estates II, discussed his ideas on <br /> park dedication for that development. P & R informed Mr. Rehbein <br /> that they would make a recommendation to the City Council at their <br /> May meeting for park dedication. <br /> P & R requests that the City Clerk release $500 for the Summer <br /> Recreation Program. <br /> LeTendre made a motion to adjourn at 10:00 p.m., seconded by Dixon, <br /> unanimously accepted. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> A ( <br /> Cindy Paschke <br />
