Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Wednesday, November 4, 1992 at the City Hall_ Chairperson <br /> Dixon called the meeting to order at 6:43 p.m. Present: <br /> Drilling, Larson, Navin, Reisdorfer, City Council Liaison Dario. <br /> MINUTES <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Larson to approve the October 7, <br /> 1992 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Proposed Arnnn Creak Development - Park T,and Dadiratinn <br /> Carol Pelton was present to update the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee on the Acorn Creek Development Task Force meeting. Ms_ <br /> Pelton presented the Committee with a rough sketch plan of the <br /> propose• par an• p us h. y _ = the City <br /> will nd up with approximately three (3) acres. All this is <br /> proposed for the east side of the proposed Acorn Creek <br /> Development. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee requests to be notified of <br /> future Acorn Creek Development Task Force meeting so the <br /> Committee full insight of development of this area <br /> Committee member Drilling is the designated contact person. <br /> Tom Dario updated the Park and Recreation that the owner of land <br /> adjacent to Central Park is available for sale, the owner had <br /> been contracted_ The price is unspecified. <br /> 1992/1993 Rink Attendants <br /> The following persons were present and expressed interest in the <br /> rink attendant positions: <br /> Name Aga Phone # <br /> - Troy Fruth 16 years old 426 -1123 <br /> - Doug Peterson 16 years old 429 -7370 <br /> - Shawn Dornseif 17 years old 426 -1503 <br /> - Natahan Arvidson 17 years old 426 -5523 <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer explained the job responsibilities to <br /> these applicants. Committee member Reisdorfer stressed that rink <br /> attendants will be terminated if necessary. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee told the applicants the <br /> Committee will be in touch in the them. <br /> Chairperson Dixon questioned why it was necessary for hockey <br /> parents to flood the rink. <br /> Committee member Reisdorfer responded that it would be in the <br /> best interest of Centerville to have consistency. <br />
