MR Meeting Minutes <br /> July 1, 1992 <br /> page three <br /> TRAILS <br /> 1. Money for trails <br /> The above "Wish Lists" are to be included in the August through <br /> December Park and Recreation Packets. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Navin to table further <br /> discussions of the 5 Year Plan until the next meeting, motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Softball Fields - Central Park <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon that in 1993 the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee will require a $200.00 deposit per group <br /> requesting ball field use of bathroom keys will be required by a <br /> specified date to be determined by the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee after request is received. The $200.00 deposit will be <br /> returned when the key(s) are returned, motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> BePlaolmeJIL.Q.L.Coifetalaskei <br /> Chairperson Dixon will replace the coffee maker. <br /> Fence Around the Water Tower - Concern about Children Climbing <br /> the Water Tower <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by Navin last year the Park and <br /> Recreation Committee presented this problem to the City Council, <br /> and the Park and Recreation Committee feels it is the City's <br /> responsibility and request the City Council to remedy the <br /> situation, motion carried unanimously. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Bequest to have Trees Transplanted to Cushion Noise - Water Tower <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee noted it has been taken under <br /> consideration, when the Park and Recreation Committee is able to <br /> put trees in the park; budget considerations. <br /> Request for Trees <br /> David and Pat Downing, 1876 Prairie Drive, attended the meeting <br /> to discuss the their request for trees to be transplanted. They <br /> would like trees to be put in the Water Tower Park by their house <br /> and by the pink house in the south west corner. The Downing's <br /> would contribute $100.00 to place 3 trees by their back yard, on <br /> the park side. <br /> Night Golf <br /> It was noted that the Park and Recreation is not going to do a <br /> Night Golf Fund Raiser this year. <br />
