Mr. Lutz <br /> forget about the cash advance from the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee. <br /> Dave Lutz made the following comments about the Festival: <br /> - Too many food vendors <br /> - Pig Roast - limit to one day <br /> - Keep softball players around <br /> - Extra food was donated to food shelves <br /> Soil was too wet <br /> - Event was greatly appreciated and people put in a lot <br /> of hard work <br /> - Park and Recreation should have a chaiker available <br /> during summer months <br /> - Profits were split 50 -50 between Centerville Lions and <br /> Park and Recreation Committee <br /> Liaison Dario made the following comments about the Festival: <br /> - Clean <br /> - Get more children's rides <br /> Committee member LeTendre made the following comments about the <br /> Festival: <br /> - Close to dollar goal <br /> Committee member Drilling made the following comment about the <br /> Festival: <br /> Put tents over all food sales. <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, made the following <br /> comments about the Festival: <br /> In the southwest far corner of Central Park, level that <br /> section for carnival trailers; <br /> Check on the electrical problems. <br /> Public Works <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, was present. Mr. Hughes <br /> advised that Dale Larson, Public Works Employee, had locked the <br /> warming house door on Sunday, August 4, 1991 after the Festival. <br /> But, on Monday it was open and the fire extinguishers had been <br /> released. No other vandalism was seen. <br /> New combination for lock: PAM; There were two keys missing. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would like the Public Works <br /> Department to re -seed the Water Tower Park this fall. <br /> Mr. Hughes should also finish the trail to Royal Meadows Park <br /> (timbers, vinyl and chips) immediately.
