Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, May 14, 1991 at the City Hall. Chairperson Dixon <br /> called the meeting to order at x:xx p.m. Present: Drilling, <br /> Reisdorfer, LeTendre, Downing, City Council Liaison Buckbee. <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Drilling to approve the April 9, <br /> 1991 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> APPEARANCES <br /> Tron Montain Forge Sales Representative on Playground Equipment <br /> A Representative from Iron Mountain Forge gave a presentation to <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee on playground equipment. <br /> COMPLAINTS <br /> Phil Schweiger, 1708 Center Street, advised of beer drinking in <br /> Central Park by softball players. Trash barrels have had many <br /> beer cans left in them. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee will advise the <br /> Clerk /Administrator to draft a letter to the Waterworks Bar <br /> advising them that the park will be patrolled during softball <br /> hours by police and people caught will be fined and their field <br /> will be forfeited. <br /> Park Maintenance Budget - Public Works <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee feels it would be best to keep <br /> the park maintenance budget within their budget. <br /> planting Trees - Watertower Park <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee is setting aside June 1, 1991 <br /> for the planting of trees in Watertower Park. Committee member <br /> Downing will look for volunteers around the park to help dig <br /> holes for the trees. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Downing to adjourn the meeting, <br /> motion carried unanimously.
