Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, April 18, 1991 at City p 1 the zty Hall. Chairperson Dixon <br /> called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: Drilling, <br /> LeTendre, R.eisdorfer, City Council Liaison Pelton. Absent: <br /> Downing. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by LeTendre to approve the March 12, 1991 <br /> meeting minutes with the following corrections: <br /> - Page one, Paragraph four: <br /> Now Reads: "Are still looking into..." <br /> Amend to Read: We are still looking into..." <br /> - Page one, Paragraph seven: <br /> Now Reads: "The Park and Recreation Committee would <br /> like a name given to the park on Mill <br /> Road." <br /> Amend to Read: The Park and Recreation Committee would <br /> like the City Council to designate the <br /> City property on Mill Road as park <br /> property." <br /> - Page Two, Paragraph four: <br /> Delete: The Park and Recreation Committee would <br /> like to propose $1,000.00 for <br /> landscaping." <br /> motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee is asking for a clarification <br /> on the idea of monies being allocated by the School District and <br /> County to acquire a lot and build a trail system onto the <br /> school's property. We have heard nothing on the subject at this <br /> point and would like the City to explain what steps have been <br /> taken in this matter. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> State Outdoor Recreation Grant <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would like the City to give <br /> them all the information needed to see what it takes to apply for <br /> grants. This should include any application packet which the <br /> City has on hand. <br /> Acquisition of the T,'Allier Estate Tot <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would like the City to obtain <br /> an easement cost and a purchase cost of both Lots 7 & 14. Once <br /> this is obtained we can get a better idea of where we stand. <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee would also like the City to <br /> contact. Mr. Dan Kelley, Principal Centerville Elementary School, <br /> to see what help or assistance the school will be in this matter. <br />
