S CA IN- 11\'• � o„Oe <br /> 0, ��� <br /> The April 18, 1991 Meeting of the Park & Recration Committee was <br /> called to order at 7:05PM by President Wicksem Present were <br /> Drilling, LeTendre and Reisdorfer. Also present was Liaisan <br /> Pelton. <br /> Minutes to the March 12th, 1991 meeting were reviewed, the <br /> corrections were as follows: <br /> 1. The fourth paragraph under old business begins the <br /> sentence with "Are still ". This should be corrected to read "We <br /> are still ". <br /> 2. The last paragraph under Park & Recreation Master <br /> Plan should be eliminated and changed to read as: "The Park & <br /> Recreation Committee would like the City Council to designate the Cif) <br /> property on Mill Road as park property. <br /> 3. The second paragraph under 1991 Budget which refers <br /> to $1000.00 for landscaping should be eliminated. <br /> Based on these revisions, a motion by Di.ekeen and seconded by <br /> LeTendre to approve the minutes. <br /> The Park & Recreation Committee is asking for a clarification on <br /> the idea of monies being allocated by the school district and <br /> county to acquire a lot and build a trail system into the schools <br /> property. We have heard nothing on the subject at this point and <br /> would like the city to explain what steps have been taken in this <br /> matter. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> State Outdoor Recreation Grant <br /> The committee would like the city to give us all the information <br /> needed to see what it takes to apply for grants. This should <br /> include any application packet which the city has on hand. <br /> Acquisition of the L'Allier Estate Lot <br /> The committee would like the city to obtain an easement cost and a <br /> purchase cost of both Lots 7 & 14. Once this is obtained we can <br /> get a better idea of where we stand. <br /> We would also like the city to contact Mr. Dan Relly /Centenniel <br /> Elementary School, to see what help or assistance the school will <br /> be in this matter. <br /> We would also like the city's assistance on obtaining information <br /> on what it would cost to build a bridge across the creek. <br />
