Pursuant to die call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 8, 1991 at the City Hall. Chairperson Dixon called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: LeTendre, Reisdorfer. Absent: Drilling, Downing. Motion by Dixon, second by LeTendre to approve the December 11, 1990 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. QJ.D BUSINESS Park Equipment at Water Tower Park Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to table discussion of park equipment at the Water Tower Park until their next regularly scheduled meeting, motion carried unanimously. Video Tane "Loss Control & Risk Management for Municipal Festivals & Special Events The video tape on "Loss Control & Risk Management for Municipal Festivals and Special Events" will be passed between members of the Park and Recreation Committee for viewing. Water Tower Park - No Unauthorised Vehicle" signs • Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, was present. Mr. Hughes stated the No Unauthorized Vehicle" signs are in, and that he will have the Public Works Department put them up. City Celebration Committee member LeTendre will look into the status of the City Celebration. Appreciation Certificates An Appreciation Certificate will be sent to the Russell Almendinger, Centerville Tree Farm, in appreciation for letting the Park and Recreation Committee have a concession stand for fund raising at the Tree Farm. logo Committee Representative Committee member Downing volunteered at the previous meeting to be the Park and Recreation Committee representative. NEW BUSINESS Appearance Orville Hughes. Public Works Director Mr. Hughes informed the Park and Recreation Committee of the following: The Park and Recreation Committee must inform the Clerk /Administrator when they want her to give him direction, they should not wait for the Clerk /Administrator to read the meeting minutes; The culvert at the Water Tower Park was originally planned to be used at the park. It will be removed in the future;
