Pursuant to die call and notice thereof the Park and Recreation <br /> Committee of the City of Centerville held their regular meeting <br /> on Tuesday, January 8, 1991 at the City Hall. Chairperson Dixon <br /> called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. Present: LeTendre, <br /> Reisdorfer. Absent: Drilling, Downing. <br /> Motion by Dixon, second by LeTendre to approve the December 11, <br /> 1990 meeting minutes, motion carried unanimously. <br /> QJ.D BUSINESS <br /> Park Equipment at Water Tower Park <br /> Motion by Reisdorfer, second by Dixon to table discussion of park <br /> equipment at the Water Tower Park until their next regularly <br /> scheduled meeting, motion carried unanimously. <br /> Video Tane "Loss Control & Risk Management for Municipal <br /> Festivals & Special Events <br /> The video tape on "Loss Control & Risk Management for Municipal <br /> Festivals and Special Events" will be passed between members of <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee for viewing. <br /> Water Tower Park - No Unauthorised Vehicle" signs • <br /> Orville Hughes, Public Works Director, was present. Mr. Hughes <br /> stated the No Unauthorized Vehicle" signs are in, and that he <br /> will have the Public Works Department put them up. <br /> City Celebration <br /> Committee member LeTendre will look into the status of the City <br /> Celebration. <br /> Appreciation Certificates <br /> An Appreciation Certificate will be sent to the Russell <br /> Almendinger, Centerville Tree Farm, in appreciation for letting <br /> the Park and Recreation Committee have a concession stand for <br /> fund raising at the Tree Farm. <br /> logo Committee Representative <br /> Committee member Downing volunteered at the previous meeting to <br /> be the Park and Recreation Committee representative. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Appearance <br /> Orville Hughes. Public Works Director <br /> Mr. Hughes informed the Park and Recreation Committee of the <br /> following: <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee must inform the <br /> Clerk /Administrator when they want her to give him <br /> direction, they should not wait for the <br /> Clerk /Administrator to read the meeting minutes; <br /> The culvert at the Water Tower Park was originally <br /> planned to be used at the park. It will be removed in <br /> the future; <br />
