They are attached for your review <br /> and approval. The low quote of $10,000,00 was from Arcade Asphalt, a local contractor from Centerville. <br /> The second quote was from Northdale Construction (Hunters Crossing contractor), coming in at <br /> $17,347.00. Also attached is a map of the Park showing the proposed work. <br /> We recommend that Arcade Asphalt be awarded the work at Acorn Park, at a total cost of $10,000.00. <br /> This includes excavating for an 8' wide trail around the playground equipment, excavating at the south end <br /> of the trail where it connects to the Woods of Clearwater Creek trail, placing 6" of gravel at these two <br /> locations, grading and preparing the existing gravel trail through the park, and paving approximately 810 <br /> lineal feet of 8 wide bituminous trail as shown on the sketch.
