Mr. DeFoe is also <br /> donating the scoreboard from his field to the City. <br /> * The temporary mobile banking facility for the County Bank was moved on to their lot on <br /> Wednesday. They plan to have the mobile building anchored to the ground and will begin <br /> operations in the temporary facility within the next couple of weeks. <br /> * Curb and gutter has been installed in the Hunter's Crossing subdivision. Asphalt base is <br /> planned for the next couple of weeks. <br /> * The public works department has moved in to their new offices. Hydrants were also <br /> flushed throughout the City this week. <br /> * Two quotes were received for the paving of the path at Acom Creek Park including the <br /> path around the playground equipment. Arcade Asphalt quoted $10,000 and Northdale <br /> Construction quoted a little over $17,000. Arcade Asphalt will be paving the trail after <br /> Council approves the quote on Wednesday. <br /> * The company from Iowa that is building the ladder truck for the fire department e- mailed <br /> a picture of the new vehicle. Delivery is scheduled for next week. <br /> * The Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed a sketch plan for the former Gor -ern <br /> property south of Center Oaks. They are proposing an 88 lot subdivision on approximately <br /> 55 acres. The Planning Commission provided many comments on the proposed <br /> subdivision. Ground Development is the name of the company interested in the property. <br /> The average size of the proposed lots is a little over 19,000 square feet. <br /> * A Council workshop was held Wednesday evening. We discussed the 2001 budget and <br /> 10/6/00 <br />
