JUN 2 8 2000 <br /> June 26, 2000 <br /> Paul Pallzner <br /> City of Centerville <br /> Dear Mr. Pallzner, <br /> Thanks for taking the time last week to listen to my suggestions about the repositioning <br /> of the "Porta- Potty" in Eagle Park. <br /> The current location is right against our property line next to the parking lot. The <br /> problem with this area is: <br /> 1. As you are driving in either direction on Dupre Road, it is the first thing you see as <br /> you are approaching Eagle Park. <br /> 2. It has been placed in the woods without adequate ventilation. During the warmer <br /> Summer months this will make the adjacent area smell. <br /> 3. Right now it looks as though the Porta -Potty was just stuffed between a couple of <br /> trees without much thought. This detracts from the look of the park. No matter <br /> where it is placed the site needs to be built -up to adequately accommodate the Porta- <br /> Potty. <br /> 4. It is placed directly against our property line without any screening. At present, this <br /> portion of our yard becomes unusable. It also adds an unsightly view from our <br /> backyard, and detracts from the overall value of our property. <br /> I want to make it clear that we are not against have this in the park, but would just like it <br /> located in a more secluded area. To this end, I have included a map with some possible <br /> locations. We feel there are a number of different areas where the Porta -Potty could be <br /> placed that would allow access for maintenance, patrons of the park and not detract from <br /> the park or the neighborhood. <br /> In the end, ask the question, would you like to have that in your backyard?
